Bug#277782: [Logcheck-devel] Bug#277782: logcheck reports "Could not run logtail or save output" and fails

Btw once we have this working, if you would like me to rm directories,
uninstall whatever... let me know... this is not a production server...
(from your latest list... looks like a permission issue with
/var/lib/logcheck... not sure why it isn't right though)


Other factiods: 
-don't recall at which point I did, but I had moved from exim4 to exim
before/during/after troubleshooting
-tried reinstalling logcheck/logtail a couple of times
-edited logcheck.conf, and put in a gmail.com account for the address
