cool thanks, searched for a syslog there but found none.
is no syslog daemon running per default in fedora?
or is it's logfile buried deeper?
(sorry have no fedora box at the hand)

should be easier now to work out of the box.
you still need to add the logcheck user to your system
and it may not find yet an logfile to check against.
