Please excuse the simple nature of this question. I'll be happy to put
this all in an faq so other newbies don't have to spam the list. :)

I checked the new mgt from sources in order to compile against gtk2. I
ran autoconf and got this:

> autoconf
configure.in:2: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_CONFIG_HEADER
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.
configure.in:3: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
configure.in:5: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_MAINTAINER_MODE
configure.in:7: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_PROG_INTLTOOL
configure.in:13: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PROG_LIBTOOL
configure.in:14: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PROG_LEX
configure.in:30: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_GLIB_GNU_GETTEXT
configure.in:134: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_CONDITIONAL
configure.in:165: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_CHECK_UTMP
configure.in:166: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_CHECK_LASTLOG

I am running debian sid with the latest version of autoconf:

autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.61

Is there something else I need to do?

Sincerly,

Fred Ollinger
