Thanks for testing.

I usually don't care much about such benchmarks but I tried VTE before and I
"felt" it was also slower.

I can only say we will use zvt2 (the zvt gtk2 port). The other solution'd be
writing our own widget but I'm not going to do that.

It's C++, gtkmm and zvt2 then.
