Nope! :) They are really needed. The same happened with nova package,
and there was lots of warnings before I fixed it.

I fixed that, and also fixed some debian/copyright issues. It's
currently in our Git, I'll ask Luk Claes if it's fine that I upload to
unstable for an unblock.
