where [x] means that the patch was applied by Konstantinos, [ ] that it 
was not. I'll probably fold applied patches soon.

As a side note, I've started working on manpages for some binaries. 
Doxygen can't help here: it can generate man pages with it but only for 
code, i.e. if we were to provide ACE library doc as man pages.
