Who's talking about selecting files in the playlist? The bug was about
selecting files in the file selector, that's why I put a directory listing in
the report. Click&drag in the file selector should have nothing to do with
click&drag in the playlist.

Both shift-click and shift-drag involve keys on the keyboard, which according
to the original report is impractical.

I don't known what's the difference (both are 1.5.1 and use
/usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0) but Ubuntu's 1.5.1-3ubuntu1.1 is better than
1.5.1-4: if you click an unselected entry in the file list, you get a selection
rectangle an can select multiple files. It's not possible to enter this into
the playlist with drag&drop, but you can press Open.
