Probably a good idea, ya. Will generate some sort of form letter for FYI
purposes in a few minutes.

I didn't either - but I'm glad to have found that. I'd like to see some
feeds from the main bioconductor site, but that's a different line of
begging that deserves to be done ;-)

I went digging a bit - Windoze-based, and appears to mostly just be an
aggregation of available binaries into one larger suite.
[Mysql+R+TinnR+Python IDE+ a few other things...]

That would be fantastic.
BTW, I did get approval (under the guise of, "Um, we need this
infrastructure here - it makes it easier to do our research" -- sometimes
more and sometimes less than the truth..) for a hostname to host a cran
mirror at IUB. I just have to get time to put it together....
