Sure, I'll do that soon but I'd like to keep its current "flat" layout without
merging with upstream files please.
Shall I also create repositories for some other packages, such as "cgminer"
and "cpuminer"?

I'm not too concerned about sponsorship at the moment.
Lately I prepared some packaging improvements for bitcoin [1] and with Jonas
we were discussing how to merge our efforts but unfortunately there were
little progress due to lack of time on both sides.
