Just a month earlier (in June) Vasudev Kamath joined pkg-bitcoin "to
maintain electrum and multibit bitcoin wallets in Debian".

Although lately we didn't hear from him he created "electrum" git
repository in pkg-bitcoin. I reckon some draft packaging is committed
there...
