The copyright file, /usr/share/doc/blender/copyright, includes a
long-obsolete version of the Blender License. The current version
is available in the source tarball as doc/BL-license.txt and
in the Web as <http://www.blender.org/BL/>.

The Blender package has the 2002 version while the current version,
very significally different (i.e., effectively rescinded), was released
in 2005.
