Thanks for your work, etch has shipped with 2.6.18 and it is unlikely that a
patch will be included in next revisions of etch's kernels (I am guessing,
pkg-bluetooth covers only the userspace side, kernels are discussed at
debian-kernel at lists.debian.org).
However there's a wiki page here http://wiki.debian.org/Bluetooth you are free
to modify and add a link to your patch and/or instructions how to obtain and build
patched packages (or even provide them, if you want).
