Yes, and I have started packaging it. However, I wanted to simplify things a
bit and have got it in a slight mess at the moment. It's in SVN if you want
to take a look.

I'm not sure what the release folks would think about a transition in
experimental.
How is boost-defaults related to the gcc build? Or do you mean rebuilding
other packages using gcc 4.8?

Python 3.3 is not yet in the archive, so I'm not going to worry about this.
