Thinking about this, it shouldn't matter as long as new boost is
available one can just build against it.

It is in Experimental and it is default in ubuntu. Which may or may
not change your opinion about it =) At least a review of the patch
would be nice, and/or pointers if there is a way to make it more fit
jam code base style.
