This is quite important and is giving people real grief on
arm64. ("Build-dep is not available" is a great deal more obvious than
a mysterious message about a missing header, which a diligent
maintainer will eventually be able to track back to this bug after
maybe an hour of poking and prodding and searching the interwebs).

Do you have a schedule for uploading a version of 1.58 with this patch
applied, and/or uploading a 1.59 which would make this issue go away,
at least for arm64. Is there anything we can do to help? (I guess a
report saying that the patch was tested working on arm64 would be
helpful).

I see that the last upload migrated to testing only at the weekend, so
I guess you were waiting for that to happen before uploading anew.
