It did compile. I've just replied in the Salomé thread: I'd rather spend
some time porting Salomé to omniORB 4.1 rather than spending (more) time
maintaining omniORB 4.0 in the archive.

So the good news is: I'll upload omniorb4 4.1.1-3 today.
