I have tried it out, but the acceptance of push operations seems to miss
some configuration:

till at till-laptop:~/ubuntu/cups/bzr/debian-trunk$ bzr push
http://bzr.debian.org/pkg-cups/cups/debian-trunk/
Format <RepositoryFormatKnit3> for
file:///home/till/ubuntu/cups/bzr/debian-trunk/.bzr/ is deprecated -
please use 'bzr upgrade' to get better performance
bzr: ERROR: Cannot lock
LockDir(http://bzr.debian.org/pkg-cups/cups/debian-trunk/.bzr/repository/lock):
Transport operation not possible: http does not support mkdir()
till at till-laptop:~/ubuntu/cups/bzr/debian-trunk$

    Till
