It should have working introspection so that clients can wont out what
signals it sends out and what their syntax is. 

Signals are all declared in an interface and emitted from an object.
That object should provide introspection if queried containing the
interface with the signals (but in this case no methods).

If that doesn't exist, it's an upstream problem, but even if it does
exist at the moment it can't be queried because of the config file
issue, which is what this bug is about.
