As you might have seen from the SVN logs, I invested a few minutes to
make a revision an exact backport of the version we currently have in
sid and etch (revision 315). After that, I brought it back in sync with
current /trunk since I build intermediate backport packages for my sarge
systems (revision 316) and it is IMHO less error prone and less work to
keep it in sync with /trunk at all times than re-syncing it for every
BPO upload.
So to build a version for BPO which is an exact backport of 2.2.12-4, do

svn co -r 315 https://mail.incase.de/svn/cyrus22/branches/sarge \
 cyrus22-bpo-build
cd cyrus22-bpo-build/cyrus-imapd-2.2.12
svn-buildpackage -rfakeroot

To build a backport of the current HEAD state of /trunk, leave out the
"-r 315" from the svn checkout command.
