Looking at the dspam-users list, my impression is there are a lot of bug
fixes in 3.8.1, due out soon (I hope), and that we might be better off
shooting for that instead of 3.8.0, which may have had some teething
problems.

SN last updated their cvs seven weeks ago, a 'second round' of patches
for 3.8.1.

Some work on 3.8.0 has been done by others, notably Julien Valroff:
