Dear all,

sticking to stable releases fits best our workflow, so if a stable release of
the 2.0 branch would happen and solve most of the current 1.3 bugs, that would
be the easiest for us.

I have pinged the maintainer of the python-boto package to update his package,
in order to ease the use of euca2ools 2.0 in Debian.

By the way, I am (slowly) working on getting cloud-init in Debian. This would
open the way for creating Debian AMIs using only material from the Debian
archive, as Debian-Installer booted as AMI and be preseeded to install Debian
on a separate volume. I am currently making all my tests on Amazon, but
I hope it can be relevant in Eucalyptus clouds as well.

Have a nice day,
