[Evolution] Removing Evolution

To Whom It May Concern,

I gave Etch a test drive a month ago or so and I came across a problem 
in which I could not remove Evolution without removing all of Gnome.  I 
did not think to submit a bug report, but I guess I should have.  I have 
searched the current bugs for Evolution, and I have not seen anything 
regarding its removal.  For Etch, will I be able to remove Evolution 
without having to remove Gnome?  Thank you for your time.
