Hi Rebecca Palmer,

Thank you for your great help. After using this, it works without
problem. However, sometime, I prefer using fgrun or the graphic
application icons on the Gnome-Shell Desktop. It still crashes. Does it
mean that I should add this env variable permanently?

If yes, this bug can be closed now. If not, please let me know something
else.
