While that may well be true, it's not relevant. The git tags don't match
the tarballs. And I don't want to upload a tarball that's not the final
one, as that would only increase the confusion.

The best option I currently see is uploading an 3.4.0~rc99 or some such.
Just something that doesn't pretend to be 3.4.0 proper.

Except of course if upstream manages to bundle the final tarballs in
time. The Ubuntu freeze is tomorrow at 21:00 UTC, right? How much time
do you need in advance to get your sync request through, successfully?
I'd like to take care to upload one or the other in time.

Note that none of that applies to fgdata, where no changes were
committed between the last tarball and the tag. So if the webgui works
with the system's js libraries, I can upload it. Did you already get a
chance to test it?
