[pkg-firebird-general] Bug#692948: Why is this "apparently easy to fix" bug....not yet fixed?

Hi Christian,

I am rather busy lately, sorry for the late reply.

The fix there was incomplete. I still need to actually /test/ the
implemented fixes (pushed another yesterday) and time appears to be
sparse. Add to that my hopes to see #693216 approved by the release
team and a bit of uncertainity how to proceed with two unblock
requests and you get a recipe for stalled work :/

All help is certainly welcome, especially if the original reporter's
situation can be tested for all (nine!) binary packages -- upgrade
from lenny to squeeze to wheezy. The two commits can be cherry-picked
in wheezy-rooted branch.

Cheers!
