apt-get points out that gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg is recommended and
doesn't install it.
aptitude proposes a solution you don't accept. It would succeed by
pointing out gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg won't be installed even if
recommended.

gnash has two media handlers: ffmpeg (default, better maintained) and gstreamer.
gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg would only be needed by gstreamer one if you
manually switch to it ("-M gst" command line parameter or "set
mediahandler gst" in config file).

That said, problem is on gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg side, it's not even in
testing at the moment.
