I tested the Qi installation, did not reflash uboot for testing. U-boot in NOR flash needs vfat+ext2.

In the uboot stage I could find /dev/mmcblk0p2 which needs to be changed, but I know too little about u-boot to do any reliable changes.
This should be done by someone knowing better.
