Sounds good, but there is no master branch, is it on purpose?  If we
leave it like this, we should change the HEAD to refers the debian
branch, so at least gitweb shows some patches.

This sounds reasonable, but I would always put an NMU line into the
Debian changelog.

However, I would say that the correct solution is upstream stopping
distributing Debian packages, since openmoko-panel-plugin is
*officially* hosted on the pkg-fso repository.  Eventually this is how
it must be, at least when we will upload the package to Debian main.

Sebastian, do you mind joining the Debian FSO Team?

I think you misspelled it, s/dpatch/quilt/ ;-)

Seriously, there is no hurry and if needed I will take care of it when
preparing the package for the upload to Debian main.

A small note: importing the Debian patch 0.5-1 [1] deleted the two
debian/changelog entries for versions 0.4-1.1 and 0.4-1.2.  For the sake
of correctness, I would add them back.
