Adding more verbosity with a --debug option passed to
cdebootstrap-static, here's the faulty one :

Trying to issue the apt-get install command inside a chroot, I got the
same error.

Actually, it seems to come from the contents of the
/etc/apt/sources.list file :
deb bootstrap: . main

... pretty obvious ;)

So I guess there's a bug here somewhere...
