..oh, and in case some of you don't know (I tend to use my non-Debian 
address for packaging work): I am an official Debian Developer and 
consider taking the responsibility[1] of releasing libfsoresource (and 
other CDBS-using[2] FSO packages) officially to Debian.

[1] I do not like the concept of "sponsoring" so do not just "upload" 
packages but intend to maintain it on a longer term - which typically 
involves me adding routines to semi-automate resolving package 
dependencies, spotting changes to copyrights and licensing etc.

[2] There are severalt different packaging styles - most popular ones 
are (I believe) "short-form debhelper 7" and "CDBS".  I am involved in 
maintaining quite a lot of packages, and have decided to use CDBS 
consistently across them all, as I have found that to be most effective 
- and when it ain't, I try to improve that: I am deeply involved in 
developing CDBS itself.
