Btw, how did you (Heiko) extract one of the directories into its
own branch? I only found git filter branch --subdirectory-filter,
which can't be updated easily. I guess you used some other method?

I already prepared fso-gsmd btw. It builds with the new libs :) I
will upload it to pkg-fso once the libs are available. It's using
CDBS, so you (Jonas) will take care of getting it into Debian, too?
