I know about this repo, thanks for Your support. Maybe I'll try to
switch to PulseAudio in some time, now I only know I had problems with
it in Karmic so I switched to ALSA.
On the other hand, ALSA also sometimes causes problems - rarely, but it
happened that I had to restart it using 'sudo alsa force-reload'.
One thing makes me wonder - I have to set OSS output in Smplayer to play
720p videos (my hardware: Core2 Duo P8600, Intel GMA 4500MHD) because
with ALSA output I cannot fluently move through the movie using arrows.
It's funny because this 'OSS' is only an ALSA emulation of OSS...
Nevertheless, I am worried that with PulseAudio output I could have more
problems with 720p fluent playback.
If only Intel supported VDPAU in their GMA cards...
