Thanks for reporting this bug.

Lincity is not in the main repository of Ubuntu, and thus this
translation cannot be fixed in Launchpad. I'll thu mark this bug as
invalid, but I'll subscribe the French team to have a look at it and see
if there is interest in fixing it upstream.

  Ubuntu release : Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS 
  Pakage : Lincity-ng 2.0-2 + lincity-ng-data 2.0-2

  
  1) In file /usr/share/games/lincity-ng/locale/fr.po
  , at lines 1111 and 1112 :
  msgid "Inventory"
  msgstr "Surplus"

  msgstr should rather be "Inventaire" or "Ressources".
  The word "Surplus" is quite misleading in that it suggests excess output.

  2) in file /usr/share/games/lincity-ng/locale/gui/fr.po at lines 400 and 401
  msgid "Mills available"
  msgstr "Fabirques disponibles"

  Small but irritating typo here : msgstr should be "Fabriques
  disponibles"
