its most likely unity issue, you get the same issue with any mono
winforms application, see bug 768931 comment #13

do ogre applications also have a questionmark as the icon?

  Ogre-App crashes Compiz when closing via the launcher

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Sadly I have another problem with OGRE, both the packaged version of
  1.7.3 and also using 1.8-trunk from mecurical.

  OGRE applications now work fine for me. And closing them works too
  without problems when doing it via the window-titlebar or inside the
  app.

  But when I want to close the Application using the context menu in the
  launcher "quit", compiz itself crashes. OGRE however, exits without
  errors.

  I'm not sure whats the reason for this, nor if this is a compiz, unity
  or ogre bug. I am using the open-source radeon driver.
