[Pkg-glusterfs-devel] patched fuse

Hi everyone,

I believe we can submit our package to debian repository, the only pending
thing if the glfs patched fuse version.
Glusterfs depends on this version of fuse to fix several bugs related to
locking, and improve performance.

What would be best to do ?
1 - Talk with fuse mantaiiners to implement the ´patch of glfs and genarete
other fuse binary package ?
2 - upload glusterfs package and explicit say the issues that will be faced
if the fuse patched version isn´t used ?

One of the possible issues related to not using patched fuse is available on
glusterfs list in the thread related to mysql on glusterfs.
Mysql works only if using the latest version of glusterfs + fuse patched
glfs8 is used
