[Pkg-glusterfs-devel] patched fuse

Hi Leonardo,

what should be the base for the debian package? The latest stable 1.3.7 
release is very old lacks some features/bugs/performance issues. I 
thaught that we will wait until the new release is published.
5 minutes ago, I wrote a mail to Anand and Amar where I asked if they 
can told me, when 1.3.8 will be available. If they will publish it next 
week, I think we have to wait for them. If not, should we really use the 
1.3.7 release?

What do you think about the option that we submit a glusterfs debian 
package with a approved TLA version? I've 8 servers running with the 
current TLA version. I've also some possibilities to test some special 
szenarios on my cluster storage. (also with amd64).

About fuse:

I think the first option (talk with the fuse maintainer)is the best one. 
Perhaps we can trigger this over Anand, Amar or some other zresearch 
developer. I think mysql and also samba is a often used szenario, so we 
should provide packages which will work for them.
