The cleaning seems to generate a job, which shows as "stopped"  in the
print control tab.  I can cancel it, but not push it forward.

If I go into CUPS via the web interface and tell it to reprint the job I
see the error "/usr/lib/cups/filter/pstops failed".  The job remains
stopped.
