I have been genuinely interested in adopting a package, for a while.

Quite frankly, I only played with iscsitarget for a couple of minutes as 
I am planning to replace my current NAS setup. Considering the
integration of IPSec in the mix, I ruled out iSCSI as it couldn't be
done meeting my requirements.

 From my benchmarks, however, IET has 25% more throughput than LIO and,
although there's probably some deficiencies regarding complex setups
(ACLs, for one), I am not convinced it should be ruled out by users.

 From the upstream's page, it seems there has been no activity for a
little more than a year. Are you in touch with them and, if so, do they
have plans for the project?

What kind of help do you need?
