Being an out-of-tree kernel module has its challenges. For one, it
needs to catch-up with every kernel release. But more than that, it is
the integration and testing that gets missed. Any module that is in-
kernel gets to enjoy the wider testing from the kernel community.

Not recently, no. Earlier, I was in contact with Ross and Arne, but
that's all.

Bug reports, testing and packaging. If you are interested, and you have
no Debian upload rights, I can be your sponsor for this package. But
other than that, not much. 

I tend to only package/maintain things that I use, and iscsitarget has
moved away from that list. But I will sponsor it if you are willing to
maintain.
