Hmmmm, I usually consider this bad practice (removing "obsolete"
entries) . Retaining old entries in PO files may be useful in general
as they are used in fuzzy matching and thus become useful when new
similar strings reappear.

Of course, one could object that fuzzy matching in our files is
usually not very efficient anyway and sometimes leads to funny entries
in translations.
