Yes, I agree with you. Normally, I do keep "obsolete" entries in po files,
as they can be valuable, as you pointed out.

However, in this specific case the fuzzy matching does not seem to provide
very useful results, but rather confusing entries. We do not have msgids
which are sentences, but almost always just a single word, sometimes two or
three. Therefore, the algorithm of the fuzzy matching has no realistic
chance of finding a proper translation.

If you think that this is wrong, I'll revert the removal of those obsolete
entries. However, I still think that translators will not have more work to
do because of that missing data.
