Hm, apparently, I missed sending you the announcement of version 2.1, sorry. 
About the pre-release POT files: Would it be sufficient to just provide the 
POT files in a tarball, or do you need the whole package? And could that 
tarball be removed after the official release?

They are always current in our SVN repository [1].
