True, however the transfer-encoding is quoted-printable.

Yes.  The digest parts don't have a Content-Type header or a
References header.  My vastly improved rmail.sl knows how to decode
the quoted-printable first part of a multipart message, but since it
doesn't see a Content-Type header it doesn't know your messages are
multipart - digest just sucks.  While I'm on the subject, Rafael is it
possible to have the digests sent four hours earlier?

Is my extended rmail.sl in jed-extra yet?  Since not many people use
rmail, and my version is much more capable anyway, maybe the standard
rmail could be removed and the jmr rmail could be made a separate
package (it would depend on jed-extra).
