progress of jed-extra

Dear jed-packagers,

the packaging of the new jed-extra 2.1 version is steadily progressing. 

Quite a lot of smaller fixes are done upstream, available at
http://jedmodes.sf.net/cvs/jedmodes-2.1.tgz

We still need to test the package.

Paul will upload some modes (cal, occur) to the CVS, so they will become
automatically included into the next update of the upstream jedmodes-2.1.tgz.

If we want to include the po mode (po.sl) and Joergs latex mode, the 
get-orig-sources rule in the rules must be adapted to download and integrate
them.

Shall we sort utils (scripts providing functions for other scripts) into a
separate libdir (jed-extra/utils/) and make autoloads for all public functions
there?

Shall we include the "experimental and exotic" modes in the package, 
(e.g. in jed-extra/experimental/ and add a commented initializatin in
jed.d/50jed-extra.sl?
