Status of the package

I do not see a problem here, since the 0.99.17.x seems to work correctly.
We should have things going on, in particular WRT the SLang2 transition,
which is pretty advanced in unstable.

We may also continue to release the packge to experimental if we unsure
about its stability.

Tell me when you think the package is ready and I will upload it.
