I agree with you. We should not include experimental scripts in the
package, because...

...this might hit us hard with experimental stuff and see us ending up
with programming and fixing these modes.

The question is, if experimental modes get used?

This might be an idea, but I think we should dissociate from this with a
note in README.Debian or put these files in /u/s/d/j/contrib.

Which modes do you think of? Do you have a list?
