After thinking a little bit further about this, I found a potential problem
with the strategy above: users of the experimental distribution will have
problems in upgrading from 0.99.19.xx to 0.99.19, unless we use an epoch
number (which I prefer to avoid).  However, we can assume that such users
know what they are doing.  After, all it is well known that using packages
from experimental is harmful to your mental health and will damage your
computer :-)
