You are using session log with delta syncrepl. According to what I can read
on openldap docs you need to use access log for delta...?

In attempting to do this I had difficulty apt-get the source as there is no
sources.gz on
http://pkg-kolab.alioth.debian.org/packages/snapshots/kolab/dists/unstable/m
ain/

I also now understand why my kolabd was shutting immediately on startup. I
see it's a known and fixed problem.
