Sounds usefull but it still requires a lot of other package maintainers to
change their packages to touch the trigger if I understand it correctly.

I think that it should be discussed on lyx-devel first to get some common
ground for an enhancement in this area.

Personally I'm not that much bothered by this problem but from time to time
it seems to confuse new users.
