Work on what you _like_ to work on. I think that's the most important
thing about working on open source software.

Beside that I guess the ttf -> fonts naming transition requires a bit of
attention. Last time I checked most packages already moved, so maybe that
one solves itself without much nagging. ("Erledigt durch liegen lassen" - for
the german speaking lurkers. ;)

For the metainfo.xml stuff I found the following blog post:
http://blogs.gnome.org/hughsie/2014/06/11/application-addons-in-gnome-software/

I would not rate it important. Would be more interesting for elyxer but
so far I'm the only one who worked on it, so don't bother with it. Except
if you've some interest in the Gnome ecosystem, then it might be worth to
look at.

Since I did not use LyX in the last five years I don't know if something
else is broken and requires attention at the moment.

The rest is the boring and tiresome bug housekeeping. I just took your
question as an opportunity to check for other important bugs I did forget
about, but there are none filed in the BTS. So either nobody is using
the Debian package anymore or it really is solid enough. :)

Along the lines I now closed
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=690004
which is already solved in 2.1.2.

Cheers,
Sven
